This is the basis for why this study was conducted. The research method is carried out with a qualitative approach to dig up information in depth or in-depth interviews with deliberately determined informants who know and understand very well what the object of the research is. The results of the study show that efforts to prevent and overcome sexual violence within the scope of higher education at Halu Oleo University are by forming a task force for the prevention and handling of sexual violence or the Halu Oleo University PPKS Task Force, Kendari. After the task force was formed, the task force sought to conduct socialization and learning activities to introduce an understanding of the types and forms of sexual violence to students, staff, and education staff. The implication of this study is to provide information and knowledge to the public about sexual violence and how to prevent and deal with it.
2024-12-20T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Amin Tunda, Rety Reka Merlins, Munawir Makmur https://neosocietal.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/83 Strategi Navigasi Perempuan Tani Tunakisma Di Kecamatan Konda dalam Menghadapi Dinamika Sosial Ekonomi Lokal 2024-12-10T11:09:36+00:00 Syaifudin Suhri Kasim syaifudinsuhrikasim@gmail.com Aryuni Salpiana Jabar aryuni@uho.ac.id Lutfiana Nur Azizah lutfianannurazizah61@uho.ac.id Megawati A. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the navigation strategies of homeless women farmers in dealing with local socio-economic dynamics in Konda District, South Konawe Regency. This approach was chosen because it allows for an in-depth exploration of the experiences, perspectives and strategies applied by women farmers in dealing with the challenges they face. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation, using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the navigation strategies of homeless women farmers in facing local socio-economic dynamics are carried out through: developing social networks, resource management skills, revenue strategy , as well as household economic diversification strategies. In fact, the household economic diversification strategy is an effective adaptive approach for homeless women farmers in facing local socio-economic dynamics. By utilizing local skills, managing risks and creating alternative income, they are able to increase the economic resilience of their families. However, the success of this strategy is highly dependent on inclusive policy support, access to resources, and reduction of structural barriers. Through economic diversification, women farmers not only survive economic challenges but also contribute to social development and community empowerment at the local level.
2024-12-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Syaifudin Suhri Kasim, Aryuni Salpiana Jabar, Lutfiana Nur Azizah, Megawati A. Second, this study also highlights the implementation of the elderly rehabilitation assistance program, which includes family-based, community-based, and shelter-based services. Third, home-based care services are implemented by providing health and social care support in rehabilitation centers. Fourth, the community care program, which involves the active participation of the local community, has been shown to have a positive impact on maintaining the welfare of neglected elderly. And then, family care is very important in providing emotional and health support, especially for the elderly who live with their families. Employing a qualitative approach with a participatory and case study design, the research observes the dynamics of Village Fund use across various villages. The findings reveal that the allocation of Village Funds remains predominantly directed toward physical infrastructure projects rather than socioeconomic empowerment programs. This focus on physical development has led to certain irregularities, including budget inflation for project costs. Additionally, the study identifies several obstacles, such as the limited capacity of village facilitators, which hinder the effective use of Village Funds. To enhance the quality and impact of Village Fund utilization, this study recommends improving facilitation capacity through more comprehensive training, strengthening the role of Community Empowerment Institutions (CEIs) in oversight, and implementing more targeted participatory development strategies. These recommendations aim to maximize the benefits of Village Funds in improving rural community welfare and reducing poverty rates.
2025-01-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 ASRANI, Peribadi https://neosocietal.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/79 The The Diversification of Employment Towards the Socioeconomic Resilience of Local Communities Around the PT. VDNI nickel smelter in Morosi. Economic dependency predominantly on the mining sector increases community vulnerability to commodity price fluctuations and policy changes affecting the industry. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through field observations and in-depth interviews with residents of Morosi District to analyze the impact of employment diversification on their socioeconomic stability. The findings indicate that employment diversification contributes to enhancing economic stability and strengthening community social bonds, helping communities adapt more effectively to economic changes. These results support the theory of socioeconomic resilience, highlighting the importance of supplementary income and robust social connections in navigating economic uncertainties. The study concludes by recommending government and corporate support through training programs and the development of new economic sectors to achieve long-term sustainability.
2025-01-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 ASRANI, Nur Azisyah Mukmin
